MyMD.Aero designed to reduce workload and increase efficiencies for global MD helicopter operators

MD Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI) announces the release of MyMD.Aero, a user-driven, web-based network designed to modernize and improve maintenance planning, parts availability and communication for MD helicopter operators worldwide. A membership-based network open to all MD helicopter owners, operators, authorized service centers, and authorized distributors, MyMD.Aero is free to join and delivers real-time access to essential fleet performance data.

MyMD.Aero will debut at their booth, #8151, at HAI Heli-Expo 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.

“MyMD.Aero is all about enhancing the customer experience,” said Nick Nenadovic, Vice President, Aftermarket & Customer Support for MD Helicopters, Inc. “Its focus is to make it easier than ever to track and monitor fleet usage data, predict parts and maintenance requirements, and ultimately  deliver optimal mission readiness supported by the sustainability and service our customers demand.”

Accessible from any mobile or desktop device anywhere in the world, MyMD.Aero offers distinct benefits for all the key players in the ongoing operation of our growing, global MDHI Family.

  • Operators – MyMD.Aero is an easy-to-use tool for updating and maintaining accurate usage data for their aircraft or fleet.
  • Service Centers – MyMD.Aero provides a singular platform for facilitating the exchange of information between Service Centers, Operators, Maintainers and OEM Field Service and Support teams.
  • Maintenance Planners – MyMD.Aero provides an easy and efficient way to track and plan maintenance on MDHI aircraft worldwide.

In addition, MyMD.Aero will provide a dedicated B2B parts marketplace “exclusively” for in-demand parts.

“The Aftermarket and Customer Support team has spent the past year talking with our operators, and not just listening to what they had to say, but learning what it is they need to optimize fleet performance. It was essential that we evolve and innovate the technology to care for our customers,” said Lynn Tilton, Chief Executive Officer for MD Helicopters. I “The release of MyMD.Aero is that technological  advancement  that will provide a solid foundation for delivering enhanced customer experiences to MD Helicopters’ growing global customer base.”
