Problem Accessing Supplier Support Restricted Website Using Internet Explorer

Some MDHI Suppliers are unable to access the MD Helicopters restricted supplier support area after submitting correct username and password. This may be d ue to high security settings in Internet Explorer client web browser settings.

Internet Explorer provides a feature that allows the user to apply a lower security setting for web sites that the user has deemed safe. The following steps details the procedure to set the MD Helicopters Inc. Web site as a trusted site.

Adding The MDHI Website As A Trusted Site

Step 1.In Microsoft's Internet Explorer version 6.0. Please make sure you have the most current version of this software installed. From the menu items select Tools >> Internet options.

Step 2. In the "Internet Options" dialog box select the security tab and highlight the "Trusted sites" Icon. Click the "Sites…" button.

Step 3. In the "Trusted sites" dialog box in the "Add this Web site to the zone:" text field type in http://www.mdhelicopters.com then click the "Add" button. Make certain that the check box "Requires server verification ( https: ) for all sites listed in this zone" is unchecked prior to adding the MD Helicopters web site.
