News Articles Take Back the Night - with New Training Program from MDHI

ORLANDO, Fla., March 1, 2007   -  MD Helicopters, Inc. (MDHI) continues to enhance its pilot training portfolio, and is now offering a new Night Emergency Procedures training program. The program, for unaided (non-NVG) night flight operations, includes ground school and flight training, and covers night vision principles, touchdown autorotations, unusual attitude recovery procedures, and inadvertent flight into Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).

While especially applicable for law enforcement operations, the training is equally valuable to any personnel who fly at night. Members of the Mesa, Ariz., Police Department were the first customers to complete the training program. MDHI offers high quality maintenance and pilot proficiency training in a professional learning environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety in the maintenance and operation of MD helicopters.
